We’re here if you need to go
If you’re ready to delete your Addison account, we’ve made it easy to do directly from the app or by contacting us. This page explains exactly how to request deletion, what data will be removed, and what we’re required to retain.
Option 1 — Delete in-app (fastest)
You can delete your account at any time from within Addison:
- Open Addison on your iPhone.
- Tap Settings (bottom navigation bar).
- Tap Account.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm when prompted.
Deletion begins immediately. Your account and associated data are permanently removed within 30 days.
Option 2 — Request via email
If you can’t access the app, email us from your registered account address and we’ll process the deletion manually within 30 days:
Subject: Account Deletion Request
Include: The email address associated with your Addison account.
We’ll confirm receipt within 2 business days and send a final confirmation once deletion is complete.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, Malingue, Inc. permanently removes the following:
- Your account profile (name, email, preferences)
- All tasks and to-do items you created
- Focus session history and timer records
- App settings and personalization data
- Any content you submitted through the app
What we retain and why

Retained transaction records contain only purchase metadata (amount, date, product ID) and are held by RevenueCat under their own data retention policy. They are not used for marketing or shared for advertising purposes.
